Given in partial fulfillment of the requirements of the Bachelor of Music degree, this recital explores the late sixteenth-century Italian revolution in musical style, featuring the lute and the theorbo in solo and accompanying roles. With music by Gabrieli, Rore, Striggio, Terzi, Marini, Piccinini, Peri, Caccini, Kapsberger, D’India, Castello, Castaldi, and Monteverdi.
